Design New Ad, Win 1GB Jump Drive

The blue, green, magenta, and yellow iHeart advertisements have lived a full life. As the 2007 fall semester rapidly approaches, we’re needing something fresh, uniquely us, and not a ripoff of a major multi-million dollar international marketing campaign. It’s time to do what we do best here at Virginia Tech and Invent the Future™. And so with great excitement we’re announcing the first ever [nlcf] Ad Design Competition. First place prize winner gets their very own 1GB jump drive!

The opportunity

What will the next ad campaign look like? What will it say? How might it intrigue people who normally wouldn’t be interested in church to check out [nlcf]? How might it simply bring good news to the general public even if they never come to church?

The focus

Despite the fact that we did very little advertisement in the way of fliers around campus this past school year, the 11:00am Colonial Hall gathering has been consistently packed. The real need is to get the word out about the 7:07pm. Folks who grow up going to church probably already look for something on a Sunday morning so the 7:07 is a wide-open opportunity for people who may not go to church.
