I really have been enjoying this series. My appreciation for the diversity and unity of God in his three-ness has been increased. Today when Matt quoted Jesus saying “If you’ve seen me, you’ve seen the Father” something clicked in my brain about how different I’ve imagined the Son and the Father. To the point of polytheism at times without really thinking about it. To hold the three in diversity and unity is such a challenge, but so important. They’re 100% on the same page with each other in heart, soul, mission, character, everything. They are/He is completely integrated. So different from the disintegrated beings we are. I am fragmented as an individual and from my fellow human beings. Jesus prays that we will be made whole again individually and communally. This is such a great hope!
