David came on the staff team in November of 2014 after being a member of NLCF since 2009 when he was a freshman at Virginia Tech. He earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Biological Systems Engineering before going on staff.
David serves in a variety of roles at NLCF. He helps manage our building, 130 Jackson, so it remains an ongoing blessing as a venue for the Blacksburg area. He also has several roles related to our sister church in Danli, Honduras. First, he helps organize the annual Spring Break trip for the students. Secondly, he helps with the Total Water: a ministry started by NLCF alumni who are currently serving full time in Honduras. In addition to these roles, he also helps with community gatherings and men’s discipleship.
He loves playing sports (volleyball, basketball, etc.) as well as watching the Hokies take the field or court. He also plays around on the guitar and sings his heart out to the radio.
At the end of the day, David wants to see people rise above what the world has to offer and find love and satisfaction in the arms of Christ.
