why fusion?
Jesus said that the greatest command was to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.” Then he told us to “Love your neighbor as yourself.” This “loving God and those around us with everything we have” is talked about a lot.
But it is usually talked about in pieces. Sometimes the focus is on how we love God more fully, or how we love ourselves more completely, or maybe loving our neighbors more selflessly. All very good and necessary pieces – but pieces nonetheless.
What if you were able to take a couple of days in early January and meet together with a wide range of twenty and thirty somethings, people who are where you are in life: in college, starting their careers, starting families; and see how we can put those pieces together?
Fusion – Getting, Giving, and Living the Gospel is wanting to do just that.
We are asking you to join us January 7th-9th in Carlisle PA to spend time with one another, worship together, and look at how we can authentically receive the gospel, extend it to those around us, and truly live it out in our world today. We hope you will join us.

Travel Information
Carlisle is one of Pennsylvania’s most treasured historic communities. Located in picturesque south-central Pennsylvania, Carlisle’s history is rich. Strolling through historic downtown, one is greeted by unique architecture, quaint shops, and award-winning restaurants. Our community is flavored by the presence of Dickinson College, Dickinson School of Law of Penn State University and the U.S. Army War College known throughout the United States and abroad for their respective curriculum.
Carlisle’s cultural environment is a diverse mix typified by its downtown theater, historic sites, and multi-cultural events. Our location within the Cumberland Valley provides numerous recreational opportunities: biking, hiking, kayaking, hunting/fishing, boating, and snow skiing. We are a 2 to 3 hour drive from some of the largest cities in the U.S. — New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Pittsburgh. In 2010 Forbes named the Carlisle/Harrisburg area as the second best place to raise a family in the United States.
