New Life Christian Fellowship (NLCF)
A church devoted to engaging our faith in Christ, engaging in community together, and blessing those around us at Virginia Tech, in Blacksburg, and the New River Valley.
Finding our Church
NLCF is a Christian church located in Blacksburg, Virginia. We have two wonderful facilities where many activities are held; the Loft, located just off campus for small groups and meetings, and 1521, located on South Main St. and is the home to many larger activities and Sunday worship services.

Welcome
We are so glad you are here! Whether you are new to Blacksburg, or you have been in the New River Valley for years, welcome. Through our missional communities (called Engage Groups), prayer times, Sunday gatherings, worship, and more, we are confident and expectant of the Lord moving in our midst. Looking for a church on Sundays? We have multiple services each week; some on campus, some off. We know you will find a home here. Take a step and get connected!
One Church, Two Congregations
As NLCF, we are one church with two congregations. “Collegiate” is our congregation focused on college students at Virginia Tech, but anyone is welcome to hop in! “Generations” is our community congregation where you’ll find anyone from babies to retirees. Anyone is welcome at either congregation, and we partner together throughout the year for various events and activities!
Collegiate Congregation
- Focuses on College Students

Generations Congregation
- Focuses on Community Members
- Typically meets at our South Main St. location
- Multiple small-group “Families”
- Typically gathers on Sundays at 9:30a
