invest
in spiritual growth
Think beyond Sunday school, this is 24/7 school. Full on, brutally honest, bidirectional discipleship means reaching forward to learn from a mentor while reaching back to raise up a newbie. You don't have to be a Christian to grow toward Christ.
invite
people to follow Jesus
It's not about joining a herd or making a group famous, it's about sharing illumination. We were invited to see if Jesus is the real deal so we want to extend the offer. Join us for a Sunday gathering, homegroup, or a mocha latte.
inspire
each other to change the world
The Bible is not a book of hypothetical fantasies but a tangible story of the Kingdom of Heaven unfolding on earth. We want to help the hurting, hungry, and oppressed because Jesus is all about fixing what's broken.

Summertime
We’ll be having one combined Sunday gathering at 10:00a at Dayspring throughout the summer. Should be just late enough for students and early enough for families!

vtONE Gathering and Prayer Week
vtONE will be hosting a gathering starting at 8pm on April 15th, in Squires Commonwealth Ballroom. This event will be somewhat informal and low-key; you are invited to bring a blanket with which to sit on the floor. We will gather to worship, pray, and proclaim God’s power through tragedy. There will also be daily prayer at noon the week of 4/14 - 4/18. Each day we will gather at the Burruss flagpoles to have a short time of worship, and then extended prayer on a specific topic each day. We hope you can join us!

Get Matt’s book on April 1
When Answers Aren’t Enough. Not only is it a great book to have, lots of people buying it on April 1 will improve its ranking so more people can know about it. It’s just $10 at Amazon. Listen to an interview with Matt on a Christian talk radio broadcast (fast forward past the Chelsea Clinton part over halfway).

Low-key vtONE event in April
From the vtONE leaders: We are in the middle of organizing a gathering on the evening of Tuesday, April 15th 8-10pm similar to a regular vtONE worship event but different in many ways. This event will be very low-key, with no full production setup, no stage, and no (well, few) chairs. The main thing we want to do is simply bring people together. There will be some musical worship, a time of sharing what God has done in the midst of tragedy, and prayer interspersed throughout. We’d also like to let you know that we will be hosting daily prayer at noon, for the week of April 14 - April 18, at the Burruss flagpoles. Like last year, we will have a short worship time, then extended prayer on a different topic for each day. Hope you can join us!

Jimmy John’s Tonight
THIS Tuesday (3/25), eat your dinner at Jimmy John’s between 4 and 10pm! Proceeds tonight will go to Project Esperanza. Our home for boys in the Dominican Republic needs urgent funds to pay for food and rent. Eating at Jimmy John’s on Tuesday night and bringing your friends means you’ll get to provide for a group of kids in the Caribbean! (If you can’t make it, please consider an equivalent donation of $5 at esperanzameanshope.org.
