Latest Updates on our response to COVID-19

April 24-26, 2020*

UPDATE: 4/17/20: Even though our in-person gathering has been postponed, we still want to celebrate “together” during our online Sunday gathering on April 26. We encourage all friends and alumni to join us on Facebook Live or our Youtube Channel as we dedicate part of the service towards celebrating 30 years of NLCF!

UPDATE 3/18/20: We know that we are all navigating uncharted territory as the world tries to stop COVID-19 from further spreading.

Locally, with Virginia Tech’s announcement to move to online classes the rest of the semester and canceling on-campus reservations until May 6th, in addition to recommendations from the CDC, we have decided that it is best to postpone NLCF’s 30th Anniversary Celebration scheduled for the end of April.

As we work to address present day needs, we will also be working to determine a new date and get that posted as soon as possible. If you paid, we will be emailing you directly over the next week or so to determine how you would like that to be handled. If hotel reservations have been made, please remember to cancel those as soon as possible. We don’t believe there will be any penalty. If you run into any issues, please let us know.

Praying for you and your family as you navigate this season.

Any of these bring back memories for you?! Needless to say, there are many many more words and images that bring us back to the fun and fruitful time at NLCF. God has shaped us and this church over the past 30 years and WE ARE PUMPED! This spring, we want to invite YOU to return to your NLCF roots – back to the ‘burg – to celebrate the story God has written for the last 30 years and join together as we look toward the next 30 years.

Over the next few months, this is the hub to discover and account for all that will be planned for the Celebration Weekend.
