This Easter, March 23, nlcf will be having a “display of light” throughout our worship services. Take a picture or create a work of light: something that displays qualities of light, or presents light in any way, nature, cities, animals, people… whatever. On Easter morning, we will have gallery of images, text, and 3D items around the room. Anyone can participate! Find what inspires you, ask God to give you eyes to see beauty all around you, and have FUN creating something that demonstrates the significance of light to you. Send your photograph, writing, or a description of what you’d like to physically display to [email protected]. All submissions should be sent by Tuesday, March 18.
Join us to make one-of-a-kind cookies and enjoy the classic movie ‘Gone With The Wind.’ We’ll be providing several types of cookie dough bases and have plenty of mix-ins so you can create your own treat to enjoy during the movie. We’ll also have milk, coffee, hot tea and lemonade to refresh us as we enjoy the movie and hang out together.
Meet at the Woodward’s house at 7:00pm, or for a ride, meet on the steps of Squires at 6:50pm. If you want to drive, directions are posted below. We’ll start the movie promptly at 7:30! Feel free to come late or leave early, we’d love to have all you ladies stop by!

Directions: From Downtown, head towards N. Main and turn left on Prices Fork Rd. Then, go down and turn Right on University City Blvd. Hang a Left on Glade Road at the Light (Between Volume Two Bookstore and Kroger). Go straight down Glade road, and after passing over 460, take the 2nd right onto Westover Drive. Follow Westover, around a sharp curve, until you see a gray house on the left-hand side with the street number 1705.

Monday Night Prayer is now at 8pm instead of 10pm! Two hours earlier! (On the Mondays that nlcf has Leadership Community, it will be at 10pm at Zach’s Place.) We hope this change will allow more people to come!

Along with the new year comes a new congregation at nlcf. The official 100% certified GRAND OPENING of nlcf downtown will take place on January 13th in the Dayspring Academy Gym. Be sure to invite friends, neighbors, colleagues, fellows, mops, pops, and total strangers to try it out.
