IN Ministries (Community)

IN ministries exist to help build deep, meaningful community and help us pursue spiritual growth.

Engage Groups: Engage Groups are the small group model we use to engage culture, each other, and our faith. We desire to build community with each other, grow in our walks with God, and engage the culture around us in sharing our faith. Find out more about each Engage Group here.

Connections: Our desire is to “connect” visitors to NLCF by welcoming them, answering any questions, and helping them get involved.

NLCF Kids & Baby-sitting: We help children grow in their faith by caring for them and teaching them on Sundays during the morning and evening services. We also have opportunities for baby-sitting the staff kids during the week.

Men’s Ministry: We aim to be a group of Christian brothers who stand side-by-side, aiding each other in our pursuit of Christ.  We seek to be identified as His sons, so we seek out His righteousness.  And Christ promises that we will be satisfied in this pursuit.

Women’s Ministry (Reach): We exist to help women of all ages grow in their spiritual journey with Christ. Founded in 2001, Reach’s mission is to help meet the spiritual, emotional, social, physical, and mental needs of women. Activities include in-depth Bible studies, socials, retreats and conferences, mentoring opportunities, personal accountability, and topical/inspirational workshops.

Journalism: We use the written word to encourage the church by sharing stories about what God is doing in our lives and in the life of NLCF. We write blurbs for the website and articles for alumni newsletter.

Web Design & Social Media: These days, the internet is the way we keep up with what is going on among our friends, organizations, and groups. It’s the same at NLCF. We desire to maintain a relevant and informative website to share stories and keep people up-to-date on what’s happening at NLCF!

Retreats &  Special Events: There’s nothing like a weekend get-away or a road-trip to bring people to a new level of friendship. We like planning special events and retreats that form deeper relationships with each other while deepening our relationship with God.
