The Freshmores Engage Group is an awesome way to meet other people at the same point in their life as you, and bond over a shared interest in growing closer to Christ together. Virginia Tech can feel really big sometimes, and it’s always nice to have an opportunity to make new friends. The Freshmores Engage Group meets on Thursdays from 8pm to 10pm in Squires, and we split the time between talking as a group about how the past Sunday’s sermon related to our lives, talking about a Bible passage (right now we’re going through 1st Peter), and splitting up into Girl’s and Guy’s Bible Study. We are fortunate to have Jim Pace join us for our Engage Group, which always leads to interesting discussions, and is a great opportunity to get to know the [nlcf] leaders better. I’ve really enjoyed getting to make new friends through this Engage Group, and I hope that if there are any Freshmen or Sophomores not in an Engage Group yet, you would contact Louisa or Douglas, or write it on your info card so that we can get to know you too!
