UP Ministries (Worship)

UP Ministries exist to help the church in their corporate worship of God.

Music Teams: Musicians and singers form bands that rotate leading the musical aspects of worship at our Sunday gatherings (11:00/12:30am & 7:07pm). Auditions are required to be a part of our music teams and usually occur at the beginning of each semester.

Sound Engineers: Sound engineers work the sound boards at our Sunday gatherings. No experience necessary. We will train you!

Projection Team: Technicians use Propresenter, Powerpoint, and other programs to run the projection for song slides, talk notes, videos, etc. for our Sunday gatherings. No experience necessary.

Lighting Team: Technicians run the lights for our Sunday gatherings. No experience necessary.

HUG (hospitality, ushers, and greeters): We are the smiling faces that greet people as they come to our Sunday gatherings. We also collect the offering, hand-out bulletins, set out refreshments, and overall create an atmosphere of welcome!

WELD (creative team): We have been given many gifts, talents, and skills and can use them to express worship and draw others into worship. If you want to use the creative arts to help encourage the church through graphic design, photography, video, drama, dance, etc.

Set-up Tear-down (STUD) Team: We are the unseen laborers who help set-up all the equipment that goes into making our Sunday gatherings happen. There is a lot of technical equipment, but we will teach you what to do along the way.
