This Sunday, April 22nd, our Ukraine missions trip team is hosting a 5k Run or Walk fundraiser. We are starting at 3pm at the entrance to the Huckleberry trail at the Christiansburg Mall. Our New Life Community (NLCF Downtown Congregation) is joining together with The River church for a combined Worship Gathering on Easter Sunday, April 8th. We will start at the same time, 10am, but in a different location. Our combined Easter Sunday gathering will be at the Days Inn in Blacksburg.
Our worship gatherings for the Campus Undergraduate Congregation are as usual:
11am, Squires Colonial Hall
7:07pm, 130 Jackson St.
Sunday April 29th we will be having a baptism ceremony right after our 10am Worship Gathering. If you are interested in learning more about baptism, please contact Joe Racek.
Our next potluck lunch is Sunday, April 1st. We will conclude our worship gathering by enjoying a great lunch together. This would also be a great Sunday for a new person to experience our community, so consider inviting any of your friends. Of course, there would be no expectation for them to bring food and I will make that clear on Sunday to all who are new.
Consider cooking something to bring and share! We will have some crockpots, warmers, and small fridges to store the food, so all you have to do is come to 130 Jackson just a few minutes early to keep the food either warm or cold during the church service. (There are warmers and fridges in our building). We will already have drinks available.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

Join us as we gather around singing songs, reading Scriptures, and celebrating the birth of the Messiah!
[nlcf] will be participating in Steppin’ Out on August 5th & 6th. We will have 130 Jackson open from 10.00a to 8.00p for people to step into some AC and out of the heat, be refreshed with some cold water, and use the bathroom facilities! We are looking for volunteers to be inside and outside representing [nlcf]. If you are interested in volunteering for a 2-hour block on Friday (8/5) or Saturday (8/6), please email Jeanette.
We are collecting any and all household items for a woman in need who is moving into a completely empty trailer in Blacksburg this week. Contact Steve for to donate larger items. You can bring other donated items to 130 Jackson this Sunday. Items donated can be kitchen supplies, linens, cleaning supplies, furniture, etc.
This Sunday, May 29th, we will NOT be having our normal worship gathering at 130 Jackson. Instead, we will have a church picnic! Starting at noon, join us at Nellie’s Cave Park for food, fellowship, friends, and fun! Food will be provided, but please bring outdoor games to play!
